Christopher Brown accepted the call to minister at Tunica Presbyterian Church in 2016, and serves as the assistant pastor. Prior to this, Chris attended Belhaven University, where he received a B.A. in Visual Art, and then Reformed Theological Seminary, where he received an M.Div. Chris is married to his lovely bride, Anna Kathryn, and they have one child. Their hope and prayer is that she will come to know and trust Jesus, and grow in her love for him.
Chris also formerly served as a pastoral care intern at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, MS. He is currently pursuing acceptance to the long-distance Th.M program in Puritan Studies on Thomas Manton at the University of the Free State in South Africa.
In addition to leading the Youth Group, Chris preaches once a month, teaches Bible at a local private school, teaches Evangelism in the Spring, and assists in the Church’s catechism outreach program. On the side, he enjoys making artwork, reading and writing about theology, and occasionally riding his road bike.
